Writing to Our penfriends
Year 5 wrote to their penfriends in France to introduce themselves.
Year 5 were excited to receive replies from their French penfriends.
Year 6 practiced their French writing skills to introduce themselves to their new penfriends.
We have written to our penfriends in France and Spain and we have shared projects from 'Cut your carbon November' to cooking with sustainable ingredients and celebrating the diverse range of mother Tongues in our schools. Year 5 took part in a project comparing Spain to the UK from landscape to climate and tourism. Our penfriends in Tenerife were able to tell us all about what they can see from their window and what plants grow there and how important tourism is for the island.
