A warm welcome from the Headteacher

At Oxhey Wood we are committed to working in partnership with parents to ensure every child achieves his or her full potential, feels safe and happy at school and develops a love of learning. We have high expectations of all members of our community and this includes working together to make sure all children have good attendance and arrive on time every day.  We expect the best from our children and we help them to do their best. We put every effort into ensuring our children become confident, considerate citizens and promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.

We welcome parents’ views and suggestions and are happy to respond to questions and concerns. Call into the office to speak to a member of the leadership team who will be available before and after school or email the leadership team with your query or concern. We rely on your support and encouragement, for it is by our partnership as parents and staff that your child will have the greatest opportunity to progress.

As part of the Agora Learning Partnership we are building a community of learners across the Trust where staff and children have opportunities to learn and grow together. We pride ourselves on treating every child as an individual and our curriculum is planned carefully to support all children in knowing more, remembering more and doing more so that they have the greatest opportunity to thrive and progress.
