3 Simmonds

Welcome to Year 3 Simmonds’ class page, I am Miss Carvey, your class teacher. Alongside me we are incredibly lucky to have two TAs, Mrs Camen and Mrs Klodi, together we have loved getting to know your children and can't wait to see what this year brings. At Oxhey Wood we have an open-door policy so please feel free to grab me at arrival or dismissal where I will be happy to answer any questions. No question is too small... 

Our PE days are Wednesday and Thursdays. 

TTRS is our maths homework, we recommend children play 3 times a week for 5-10 minutes, we find little and often works best.  

Spelling shed is used to support our spelling homework, and words will be assigned weekly with engaging games to play to practice these. 

We have lots of exciting topics to cover and I'm sure your children will enjoy telling you all about them over the year, follow along here and keep an eye on our Newsletter for updates too.
