Welcome to 4 Berners-Lee! 

I am your class teacher Miss Scourfield and we are also lucky to have Mrs Goncalves working in our class team to assist with the children's learning. 

We have an exciting year ahead of us with lots of wonderful trips planned alongside practical and engaging lessons planned within school to ensure that we carry out some amazing learning this year!

At Oxhey Wood we have an open door policy so please feel free to speak to me before or after school at the door. Alternatively please do not hesitate to email me with any questions or concerns. There is no such thing as a silly question!

Autumn 2

Berners-Lee have had a busy week this week!

We have been learning about tooth decay in science so used plaque disclosing tablets to show us how important it is to be brushing our teeth properly. 

We have also learnt 2 new skills! During a computing workshop the children used tablets to make videos promoting anti-bullying week. During ambition day the children learnt how to spell their name using British Sign Language. 

This half term our topic has been Ancient Greece. Throughout our art lessons we have been designing our own mythical creatures! This week we developed our art and design techniques by using clay to bring these creatures to life!
