Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
The Year 2 Nurture group have thoroughly enjoyed their learning about the Great Fire of London
This week the children in year 5 completed their Mini Police course. They were excited to receive their certificates- and even more excited about the canine visitor who came along to present them!
We have enjoyed having parents and carers into school for a "reading breakfast"- sharing a story and eating some tasty breakfast treats.
Across school, children learnt that the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month is a special time to remember those who have fought and died for our country.
In nursery children made poppies with play dough, made a poppy wreath, made instruments and played in a marching band and completed an army obstacle course.
In Mrs Bullivant's nurture group the children were lucky enough to see her Grandad Jim's medal and possessions. They also decorated their own poppies.
Year 5 have been writing their own cinquains.
Thank you to all the children who have prepared presentations, brought in special items and shared their knowledge with their friends in phase assemblies this week.
