• Bookspree & St Albans

  We were delighted to be awarded £500 by the Siobhan Dowd Trust to have a Bookspree. A group of children headed to the independent bookshop in St Albans to browse the incredible selection. As it was Remembrance Day we headed over to St Albans Abbey afterwards and walked round the grounds. We were thrilled to be able to look inside. We saw the stained glass windows, the decorative ceilings, the organ pipes and the beautiful wooden pulpits. We were even able to make brass rubbings and dress up as Roman soldiers!

• This Girl Can ...Roadshow

  We were thrilled to welcome athletes and a coach  from Saracens and Watford Rugby Clubs to school as part of the "This Girl Can" campaign which aims to support more women and girls to take part in sport. After leading an assembly our visitors joined the children in their Daily Mile before leading a rugby masterclass for out Year 6 girls.
